PORT JACKSON GROUP

Refund Policy

Effective 22 August 2026 · Clear, fair and compliant with Australian Consumer Law

Your rights come first

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot be excluded.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with consumer guarantees where the Australian Consumer Law applies. Services must be provided with due care and skill, be fit for an agreed purpose and be supplied within the agreed time or a reasonable time.

If a service has a major problem, you may be entitled to cancel the service contract and receive a refund for the unused portion, or seek compensation for the difference in value. For a minor problem, we will have a reasonable opportunity to fix or re-perform the affected service at no charge. Other remedies may apply depending on the circumstances.

2. KeptDesk subscriptions

  • You may cancel at any time before your next renewal date.
  • Cancellation prevents the next charge. Your service ordinarily continues until the end of the period already paid.
  • We do not ordinarily provide a partial refund for a change of mind or unused time in a monthly period that has already started.
  • If we charge you after a cancellation was properly received before renewal, we will correct the charge.
  • If the service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, we will provide the remedy required by law.

3. Setup and fixed-scope work

If you cancel before work begins, we will refund the setup fee, less any disclosed non-recoverable third-party cost already incurred with your approval.

If you cancel after work begins, we will provide an itemised statement. You must pay for work reasonably completed and approved commitments up to cancellation. Any remaining prepaid amount will be refunded.

If completed work has a minor problem, we will first fix or re-perform it within a reasonable time. If there is a major failure or we cannot fix a minor failure within a reasonable time, remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law apply.

4. SEO, advertising and growth services

Marketing outcomes are not guaranteed. A campaign receiving fewer leads or sales than hoped does not by itself establish a service failure. We remain responsible for delivering the agreed work with due care and skill.

Monthly management can be cancelled before the next renewal. Work completed in the current paid month is not ordinarily refundable for change of mind. If we have not supplied agreed work, we will offer an appropriate correction, service credit, re-performance or refund as required by law.

5. Advertising spend and third-party charges

Payments already made to Google, Meta, telecommunications providers, software platforms, media suppliers or other third parties are subject to those providers’ policies and may be non-refundable. We will not mark up or retain a third-party refund that belongs to you.

Where we have not yet committed prepaid advertising funds or third-party costs, the uncommitted balance will be returned after final reconciliation.

6. Founder offers and discounts

Founder pricing is a discount, not a reduction of your legal rights. If you cancel and later return, the founder price may no longer be available unless we agree otherwise in writing.

7. Requesting a remedy or refund

Email portjacksongroup@gmail.com with:

  • your name and business name;
  • the service and purchase or invoice details;
  • a clear description of the issue;
  • relevant records or screenshots; and
  • the remedy you are requesting.

We may ask for reasonable proof of purchase and information needed to assess the issue. We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days and provide an outcome or progress update within ten business days.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method where practicable. Bank and payment-provider processing times are outside our control.
